Composite stainless steel plate is a new type of metal material that combines a stainless steel cladding layer with a carbon steel or low-alloy steel base layer through special processes. Its structural design integrates the core advantages of both materials. The stainless steel cladding layer typically uses 304, 316L, or 2205 duplex stainless steel, providing excellent corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and aesthetics. The base layer adopts carbon steel materials such as Q235B and Q345R to ensure the mechanical strength and load-bearing capacity of the plate.
This composite structure enables the plate to achieve a "1+1>2" effect in performance: corrosion resistance comparable to pure stainless steel, mechanical strength comparable to high-quality carbon steel, while the cost is only 50%-70% of pure stainless steel plate. Interface bonding technology is its core highlight. Explosion bonding and hot rolling bonding methods can achieve metallurgical bonding with shear strength ≥ 210MPa and bonding rate over 99%, ensuring no delamination issues during use. Whether in corrosive environments with chemical media or load-bearing requirements of building structures, composite stainless steel plates can be precisely adapted, becoming the preferred material in various industries.
